Relocating to the Maryland or Annapolis area
Relocating to a new town can push someone to their mental limits, without considering the daunting task of finding a place to live in addition to finding the right Realtor. At
Berkshire Hathaway Home Services PenFed Realty, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When relocating, you often don't have the time to look at every house for sale. Most likely, you'll be able to visit a couple dozen, so narrow down that list first thing with these tips:
- Arrive into town with two lists: One should be of things you must have. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house can't fulfill your basic needs, we can naturally take it out of the list.
- Know your budget. If you are going to get a home loan, have your pre-approved amount beforehand so we can eliminate homes beyond your budget.
- Consider drive time to work or other activities. Traffic around Annapolis could be different than what you're used to, so let me know how long a commute you're willing to undertake.
I can send you some best recommendations before we meet in person. Or you may already have some favorite listings you could share with me as a result of your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is helpful, there's nothing like visiting homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. If we work efficiently, we could go to 8 to 10 homes in a single day.
My objective is to do everything I can so that by the end of your visit, you can be rest assured you're on the right track to finding the best home for your family. Call me today at
